From description, the consequence happens when the user tries to may changes in SharePoint and personal OneDrive documents from the local OneDrive sync folder on Mac. (If I misunderstand annihilation, experience gratis to correct me)
The effect may be related to Office cache, yous may let the user endeavour steps beneath:
1.Firstly shut all Office apps.
2.Open Finder, printing Command+Shift+m, in the window that opens, enter ~/Library/Containers
in the Containers folder, move these folders to Desktop:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
3.Open a certificate from OneDrive sync folder and edit it to check the result.

Hi Jim, We ruled out the internet connection result as it occurs when the user is at the office besides where we accept at least higher up 50mbps download and upload speed.

Hi Tina,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you lot. We did remove office cache few days ago unfortunately it didn't aid. Information technology happens randomly with unlike documents and the user doesn't employ online portal. Here is how the error message looks like.

As only ane user is having the issue, to check if it'due south an event happening in a specific Mac user profile, you may let the user attempt to switch to another account then log in Mac, and then become to check if fault bulletin still appears when he opens documents.
